LONGLIST FOR THE REDEFINERS WRITING CHALLENGE 2025

The Redefiners Writing Challenge is a contest created by Omonefe O. Eruotor, the founder of Redefiners' Hub, to help young people discover their voice and understand their ability to make a positive impact on the world.

The first edition was held in 2000 during the COVID-19 lockdown. Since then, Redefiners' Hub has organized various activities to improve literacy, critical thinking, self-awareness, and leadership skills in young people.

This year's theme, "Changing My World," was chosen to help young participants develop a sense of responsibility and recognize that making the world a better place requires a collective effort, and the contest is curated in partnership with Chowilson, Boolz-I Writing Services, Pulchra Publishing and The Bookworm Cafe, all organisations that promote creativity.
